Soaks

A Base

A great base for most soaks is Epsom salt and baking soda.
You could use other salts like rock salts and what not.
1 part baking soda to 4 parts salt works great but depending on what else you are adding to it the amount of baking soda changes.

Add to your base a mixture of herbs even some lose leaf tea or your choice of essence oil and your ready to throw it into a bath or into a foot soak.

Powdered Milk

Is a great base for bath soaks and can be used in many ways.
add baking soda to it, cornstarch, cream of Tatar to this base depending on your needs
add some herbs, tea, or some citrus fruit zest depending on your mood.
Your various oils work well with it too.
oh and honey.

Scrubs

Basic Salt or Sugar

Simple easy to make and can be altered in almost every which way.
Get some salt (cooking, rock or Epsom) or sugar (raw and white mixed is probably best).
Add to is some just enough to to bind it all together, the oil can be of your choosing, coconut oil, olive oil, mineral oil.
depending what you chose to make it from differed on how it works using salt instead of sugar with clean out more bacteria and heal and cuts or what not, may sting a bit though.
different oils will have a different effect they will moisturize the skin and not dry it out like most store bought scrubs or if using an essence add some fragrance.

Add to your basic Scrub

Take you basic salt or sugar scrub and enhance it.
Add some herbs to it lavender, rosemary, thyme or any others of interest to you.
You can add zest from a lemon, lime or orange and get a nice citrus scrub.
Add some fresh fruit or  vegetables to your scrub, cucumber, tomato. experiment if you wish with all sorts just remember the scrub won't last as long with fresh ingredients, the cucumber or tomato are bound to go off eventually.

Honey and salt.

Can use all over, face, body, feet.
scrubs off the dead skin and dirt, heals any cuts and what not and moisturizes the skin.
1 part salt (Epsom is preferred)

Sugar and Honey

Add some orange and lemon (or any other citrus fruit) zest to your salt
add a few drops of an oil of your choice

and about 1 1/2 cup of and oil of your choosing: almond, coconut, mineral, olive or whatever.

Olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, or any oil really.
